Thank you for visiting my art page.

When people started posting AI-generated “art” on social media, I found it demoralizing. It raises all kinds of questions for me about the ethical implications of AI access and its celebrated lack of regulation or consent in the use of “publicly available” work — in its “training” and in its production.

It has caused me to reconsider sharing my work so freely. While I continue to draw, I am trying to think through the implications of making my work available on-line. It does not seem enough to include a copyright. Until I figure all of this out for myself, I will not be updating the site so frequently.
